Personalised parenting and child health support, from the comfort of home.Â
From newborn feeding and sleep support through to toddler behaviour, motherhood transitions and evidence based parenting programs, Rural Child Health gives rural families access to trusted, expert care without the travel, long drives or added logistics. Â
Parenting is hard enough without navigating it alone.Â
Living rurally or regionally can mean fewer services, longer wait times, limited access to specialist support and a lot of second guessing.Â
Â
You might be wondering:Â Is this normal?Â
-
Why won’t my baby sleep?Â
-
Am I feeding them the right way?Â
-
Is my toddler’s behaviour something to worry about?Â
-
Why does motherhood feel harder than I expected?Â
-
Who do I even ask for help?Â
-
You don’t need to figure it all out on your own.Â

Sometimes you need more than another Google search. You need someone experienced to help you understand what is happening for your child and what to do next.Â
Our 1:1 consultations provide calm, practical and expert support tailored to your child, your family and what is concerning you right now.Â
Whether you are navigating feeding challenges, sleep and settling, toddler behaviour, developmental questions, or the emotional load of motherhood, you will be supported by an experienced child and family health nurse who understands both the clinical and real life side of parenting.Â
Together, we can work through what is happening, what is within the range of normal, when something may need further support, and practical steps you can take moving forward.Â
Whether you need reassurance through a single consultation or ongoing support as things change, you have access to trusted care when you need it.Â
Available via telehealth across rural, regional and remote Australia, with in person support available in selected locations.Â

Parenting rarely comes with just one question. As your child grows and changes, the things you need support with change too.Â
Thriving Through Motherhood provides ongoing access to trusted child and family health support, giving you a familiar place to turn when questions, concerns or new stages arise.Â
We can work through feeding, sleep and settling, behaviour, growth and development, parenting challenges and those persistent “is this normal?” questions. Just as importantly, there is space for you too, including your emotional wellbeing, identity, confidence and the changes that come with motherhood.Â
Rather than navigating each new concern on your own, you have consistent support from someone who gets to know you, your child and your family.Â
Some weeks you might need practical guidance about your child. Other times you might need reassurance, help deciding whether something needs further assessment, or simply space to talk through how you are going.Â
Thriving Through Motherhood brings all of that support together, helping you feel informed, confident and supported as both you and your child grow.Â
Delivered online, making ongoing parenting, maternal and child health support accessible to families across rural, regional and remote Australia.Â

The first three months with a new baby can bring feeding questions, sleepless nights, uncertainty and a whole lot of “is this normal?”Â
Our Postnatal Support Package provides five weeks of consistent, personalised support for parents and babies during the postnatal period, from birth to around three months of age.Â
With the same child and family health nurse supporting you throughout, we can work through feeding, sleep and settling, your baby’s growth and development, maternal wellbeing, early bonding and the everyday questions that inevitably come up.Â
Regular contact also gives us the opportunity to identify concerns early, monitor how you and your baby are going, and help connect you with further care or referral pathways when needed.Â
You don’t have to save up every question for your next appointment or decide on your own whether something is important enough to ask.Â
For five weeks, you have a trusted health professional who already knows you, your baby and your story, providing reassurance, practical guidance and continuity of care as you find your feet together.Â
Available via telehealth for families across rural, regional and remote Australia.Â

Evidence based parenting support designed to strengthen connection, confidence and secure family relationships.Â
Register your interest →Â
Sometimes your child’s behaviour is telling you something, even when it is difficult to understand what they need from you.Â
The Circle of Security Parenting Program helps parents and caregivers better understand their child’s emotional world, recognise the needs underneath their behaviour and respond with greater confidence and connection.Â
Through guided sessions, you will explore how children seek connection and security, how your own experiences can influence the way you respond, and practical ways to strengthen the relationship between you and your child.Â
It is not about perfect parenting. It is about understanding your child, understanding yourself and building a secure relationship that supports their emotional development and wellbeing.Â
Circle of Security is available through direct family enrolment and can also be delivered in partnership with not for profit organisations, community organisations and employers wanting to provide evidence based parenting support to the families they serve or support.Â
Programs can be delivered online or in selected locations, helping make quality parenting education more accessible to rural, regional and remote families.Â

Give the gift of support →Â
When someone you care about welcomes a new baby, you want to help. But sometimes distance, work, family commitments or simply not knowing what they need means you cannot be there in the way you would like.Â
A Rural Child Health gift voucher gives them access to trusted, professional support when they need it.Â
It might mean having someone to ask about feeding at the end of a long day, getting reassurance about sleep or development, talking through how they are coping, or simply hearing, “Yes, this is normal.”Â
Perfect for a baby shower, new arrival or simply letting someone know you are thinking of them.Â
You might not be able to be there to make dinner, hold the baby or sit beside them at 2 am, but you can help make sure they have someone experienced in their corner.
